Hey, I’m Chelsea.
A little bit about me: I’m 24-years-old, a Florida-transplant currently living in Long Beach, California and I am known for rolling my eyes more often than most. I’m the Tour Manager at a non-profit organization that believes the North Korean people will be free in our lifetime. Every day I wonder how I ended up with such an awesome job. When I’m not in my office, I can be found writing, baking, thrifting, or hanging with my three-legged pup Hopkins and my stand-up comedian boyfriend. Oh, and lately I can also be found at therapy. I’ve totally become that person who won’t shut up about how great therapy is and how everybody should try it, but I’m okay with that.
I’m the kind of person who’s constantly trying to improve my life, and more often than not that involves a lot of planning and making lists, because that is the form my crazy has taken, I guess. I made a list of “25 Things To Do Before I Turn 25” that I’m currently working my way through. I also like to talk about world issues but not in a sad, “OMG this sucks” kind of way; more like a “Hey, we’re all connected and can totally make a difference and that is so rad!” way. Mix in some recipes, my experience wearing wedge heels for the first time (spoiler alert: I nailed it), a serious love of family tradition, tons of 90’s R&B, how to make friends outside of work, and that’s me!
I have a lot to say and I hope you guys enjoy at least some of it!
